International Master of Science Education Program
Integrative Sciences and Engineering
You will become a specialist capable of performing interdisciplinary applied research in the field of physics, chemistry, and materials science using nanotechnologies and technologies for designing nanomaterials.
You will be able to solve physical problems in obtaining and researching advanced materials for nanoelectronics.
You will master the advanced technology of depeloping quantum magnetic and semiconductor materials.
You will use modern methods of studying nanostructures with atomic precision and ultra-high sensitivity.
You will be invited to leading Russian and foreign universities and research institutes as a teacher or researcher (Postdoc).
You can become a researcher or technologist at enterprises producing telecommunication and electronic equipment.
Graduates are provided with the opportunity to continue their education in the postgraduate FEFU full-time with the subsequent employment in the position of a research assistant or senior lecturer.

Entrance examinations are held in the form of a competition of documents (portfolio), taking into account individual achievements.

Research is conducted on modern world-class scientific equipment, including electronic and photolithography, electron microscopes, ultrahigh-vacuum installations, vibrating sample magnetometers, optical magnetometers and microscopes, etc.
At the end of the program, successful graduates can
work as a Research Associate or as a Postdoc at leading laboratories in the field of nanoelectronics, magnetism, nanotechnology worldwide.
